BREAKING NEWS: CLEMENT EBRI TO Emerged AS NEW APC ACTING CHAIRMAN

All appears set for the emergence of a former Cross River state governor, Clement Ebri as the new Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress before weekend. This followed the decisionof APC Governors to drop the incumbent Adams Oshiomhole citing, gross incompetence culminating in the party alienating itself from its founders. Ebri was favoured to be the National chairman mid year but he announced his decision to withdraw from the race in a statement he issued.   However in a statement he signed on Tuesday night, Ebri said, “Following deep consultations with my family, friends and associates , party leaders and stakeholders in the pesent calamity of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, I have decided to accept the call to duty and serve as the National Chairmanship of the APC. “This decision has been taken in what I consider to be the overall best interest of the party and my belief that all stakeholders must row in the same rancour -free

BREAKING NEWS : DELTA APC EXPELS SENATOR OVIE OMO AGEGE:

At an emergency meeting of the State Working Committee ( SWC ) of our great  party APC led by Chief Cyril Abeye Ogodo held today 3rd October, 2018, the  Delta State SWC took a decision to expel Senator Ovie Omo Agege for his continuing anti-party activities that has remained unabated. The latest of such activities relates to the hijack of primaries panel members and materials sent from the national to conduct primaries in the state and deploying same to conduct unauthorised parallel primaries. The manipulation and tampering of delegates lists and the use of thugs to harass and deprive authentic delegates from access to primaries venues; all that in conjunction with Prophet Jones Erue and others who have earlier been expelled from our party. The expulsion of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege is with immediate effect. The SWC also resolved to petition the Security services including the Police and DSS to arrest and prosecute Senator Omo-Agege, Prophet Jones Erue and others for impersonatio

Utomi leads in the parallel gubernatorial primary elections organized by the Chief Cyril Ogodo led State Working Committee

Prof Pat Utomi, an All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship aspirant in Delta State is currently leading in the parallel gubernatorial primary elections organized by the Chief Cyril Ogodo led executive. Recall that the two factions of the party in Delta yesterday orgainzed two separate primaries in different locations in the state capital, Asaba. As at the time of filling this report, vote counting is taking place at the venue headed by the Cyril Ogodo led State Working Committee (SWC), and the Prophet Jones Erue led faction. The two primaries are reportedly supervised by party officials sent by the National Working Committee (NWC) and INEC officials and heavy security presence. It was also gathered that the former speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and a governorship aspirant, Engr Victor Ochei stormed out of the venue of the Erue-led faction primary at about 2am this morning in protest, citing flawed process.
